What exactly is elrow?

Founded in Spain, elrow is often described as an “immersive dance music brand”. In other words, it is essentially a global touring party concept where large-scale production and themed environments are as important as the DJs themselves.

Unlike traditional festivals where the lineup is the primary draw, elrow’s philosophy is that the production itself is the headliner.

While you can expect internationally recognised house and tech-house DJs on the decks, the defining feature of elrow shows is the atmosphere. Elrow is designed to be a boundariless party where performers and guests share the same space, and the dance floor becomes an interactive theatre.

This production-first approach is what has helped elrow build a cult global following. Over time, it has built a reputation not just as an event organiser, but as a full-scale experiential production house designing custom-built stages, thematic worlds and interactive performance environments for every edition.

Today, elrow hosts more than 70 large-scale shows annually across five continents.

The 2026 theme – Nowmads: New World

For 2026, elrow brings Nowmads: New World, a theme that debuted in Ibiza in 2025 and now at Dubai.

The concept blends tribal symbolism with futuristic aesthetics. Imagine ancient ritual-inspired costumes reimagined with neon detailing, oversized mechanical sculptures wrapped in LED skins, and stage structures that feel part temple, part spaceship.

From the moment you enter, the entire Dubai Media City Amphitheatre becomes a 360-degree visual environment. Immersive LED walls and large-scale projections wrap around the venue, dissolving the traditional “stage versus crowd” format. In this event, you are not facing a performance, you are standing inside it.

Large-scale set pieces and stage elements shift visually throughout the night through lighting changes, moving components, and evolving projections as DJs move through their house and tech-house sets. The result is an environment that continuously transforms rather than remaining visually static.

But perhaps the most immersive part of the experience is the performers moving through the crowd.

More than 100 performers, including acrobats, aerial artists, stilt walkers, and theatrical actors, move throughout the venue in elaborate futuristic-tribal costumes. They interact directly with you, dance with you, and add a theatrical layer to the party atmosphere.

This constant movement between performers and guests is what gives elrow its signature feel, a dance floor that feels like a fully immersive festival environment.
