Paris’s Famous Piano Bar, Le Piaf Is Finally Opening In Dubai

Paris’s Famous Piano Bar in Dubai brings live music, French dining, and late-night glamour to Emirates Towers.

Published on

Dubai is getting a new kind of nightlife experience this May, and it is not another rooftop lounge or celebrity-chef restaurant.

Le Piaf, one of Paris’s most loved piano-bar concepts, is officially opening at Jumeirah Emirates Towers on May 20, 2026. Created by Paris Society, the venue combines French dining, live piano performances, cocktails, spontaneous singalongs, and late-night DJ sets inside a dramatic red velvet dining room.

More importantly, Dubai will become the first city outside Europe to get a Le Piaf.

If you have ever wanted a night that starts with oysters and champagne, and somehow ends with an entire room singing together at midnight, this is designed for just that.

What is Le Piaf?

Le Piaf is a restaurant, cocktail bar, live music venue, and intimate late-night club rolled into one experience.

The original Le Piaf opened in Paris’s 8th arrondissement in 2017 and quickly became known for three things:

  • Glamorous French interiors
  • Live piano-led evenings that slowly evolve into full-room singalongs
  • A social atmosphere where dinner naturally turns into a very long night out

The concept later expanded into luxury Alpine destinations including Megève and Val-d’Isère. Now Dubai becomes the brand’s first international expansion beyond Europe.

The name itself references Édith Piaf, the legendary French singer whose emotional and theatrical spirit heavily influences the venue’s identity.

This is not a quiet fine-dining restaurant where everyone whispers over tasting menus. Le Piaf is intentionally energetic, musical, and social from the moment the pianist starts playing.

How does this new spot in Dubai stand out?

Dubai has no shortage of luxury restaurants. What makes Le Piaf different is that the entertainment is woven directly into the dining experience instead of existing separately from it.

The night is designed to evolve naturally:

  • Dinner begins with live piano performances
  • Guests slowly begin singing along
  • The atmosphere becomes louder and more spontaneous
  • DJs eventually take over later into the evening. The restaurant gradually transforms into an intimate club environment

This progression is what made the Paris original famous. Instead of separating dinner and nightlife into two different venues, Le Piaf blends both into one continuous evening.

Inside Le Piaf Dubai: The design and atmosphere

The Dubai location brings over the same dramatic visual identity the Paris venue became known for. Inside, you can expect:

  • Deep red velvet seating with crystal chandeliers
  • Gold leaf detailing
  • Black lacquer finishes
  • Gilded mirrors
  • Vintage artwork
  • Intimate lighting designed for late-night dining

The entire space leans heavily into old-world Paris glamour rather than modern minimalism.

Even the service style reflects that mood. Staff move through the room in classic white shirts, bow ties, and suspenders, reinforcing the feeling that you are inside a highly choreographed yet spontaneous night out.

The venue sits inside Jumeirah Emirates Towers, placing it directly between DIFC, Downtown Dubai, and the World Trade Centre area, one of the city’s busiest luxury hospitality districts.

What to order at Le Piaf Dubai

Food is a major part of the Le Piaf experience, and the menu stays unapologetically French.

The menu includes several dishes already associated with Le Piaf across Europe.

Starters include Gillardeau oysters, widely considered among France’s finest oysters, alongside wagyu carpaccio with truffle and aged balsamic.

One of the standout signature dishes is the chicken and caviar sharing plate, which perfectly captures the restaurant’s mix of indulgence and theatricality.

For mains, the menu moves between classic French comfort and luxury seafood:

  • Sole meunière with capers and lemon
  • Roasted lobster served with lemongrass bisque

  • Miso black cod with pickled daikon
  • Lemon roasted yellow chicken, one of the venue’s most ordered dishes internationally

Desserts continue the French theme with Saint Honoré pastries, rum-soaked Baba des Bobos, and rich traditional chocolate mousse.

Cocktails and music at Le Piaf

Cocktails and music are just as important as dinner here. Le Piaf is designed around the idea that music shapes the entire room.

The pianist begins playing early in the evening rather than appearing later as entertainment. That detail matters because it impacts the entire atmosphere from the start. The music typically moves through:

  • French classics
  • English rock songs
  • American pop favourites
  • Crowd singalongs with high-energy DJ sets later into the night

The experience becomes increasingly interactive as the evening progresses.

The bar programme follows the same philosophy as the rest of the venue: classic French glamour with enough personality to keep the night moving long after dessert.

The menu mixes well-executed classics with more playful house creations built around premium spirits, herbs, citrus, and French-inspired flavours. If you prefer familiar cocktails, you will still find staples like the Negroni done properly. But the more interesting option is leaning into the signature drinks created specifically for the venue.

Because Le Piaf transitions from restaurant into piano bar and eventually into a club atmosphere, the cocktail menu is structured to evolve alongside the room’s energy.

The bar itself is expected to become one of the focal points of the venue, particularly later into the evening once the live singing begins and dinner service gradually gives way to nightlife.

How to get to Le Piaf Dubai

The station connects directly to the Emirates Towers complex through an internal walkway, making it one of the simplest luxury venues in Dubai to access without driving.

Le Piaf Dubai feels less like a traditional restaurant launch and more like the arrival of an entirely different style of nightlife experience for the city. And honestly, that is exactly why people are already paying attention to it.
