Global Village Dubai Extends Season 30 Until 31 May 2026
Global Village Dubai has extended Season 30 until May 31, 2026 with more time for rides, food, shopping, entertainment, and Eid celebrations.
If you thought you had already missed Global Village Dubai this year, you now have three extra weeks to plan a visit.
Dubai’s hugely popular outdoor entertainment destination has officially extended its milestone Season 30 until Sunday, May 31, 2026, instead of closing on 10 May as originally scheduled. The extension now carries the season through the Eid Al Adha holiday period, which is usually one of the busiest and most energetic times to experience the park.
And if you have never been before, Global Village is essentially a massive open-air entertainment destination that combines international food, shopping, live performances, carnival rides, and cultural experiences in one place. Think of it as part global night market, part carnival, and part live entertainment festival.
What is Global Village Dubai?
Global Village Dubai is one of the UAE’s largest seasonal outdoor attractions and has been running since 1997.
The concept brings together shopping, food, cultural performances, amusement rides, and family entertainment inside a huge open-air park divided into themed country and regional pavilions.
Each pavilion represents a different culture through food, fashion, handicrafts, sweets, perfumes, spices, accessories, homeware, and live performances inspired by that region. You can move from Turkish lamps and Moroccan ceramics to Korean snacks, Indian textiles, Japanese sweets, and Middle Eastern street food within the same evening.
Season 30 also marks a major milestone because the destination has now been operating for three decades since first launching in 1997.
Why Season 30 was extended
The extension adds roughly three extra weeks to the season and carries Global Village directly into Eid Al Adha celebrations.
That timing matters because Eid is typically one of the busiest and most energetic periods at the park. The combination of cooler evenings, late operating hours, shopping offers, family outings, and live entertainment creates a much more festive atmosphere compared to regular weekdays.
The extension also follows the attraction’s temporary closure earlier this year linked to regional disruptions before reopening again in April. The goal is to allow more families, residents, and tourists to experience the final weeks of the anniversary season.
What to expect at the Global Village Dubai
30 cultural pavilions representing more than 90 cultures
The biggest draw remains the international pavilions.
This season features 30 separate pavilions representing more than 90 cultures from around the world. You can move from Turkish lamps and Moroccan ceramics to Korean snacks, Indian textiles, Egyptian perfumes, African crafts, Japanese sweets, and Middle Eastern street food within the same evening.
Some pavilions focus heavily on shopping, while others lean more into food, live cooking, performances, or interactive experiences.
Food at Global Village Dubai
There are more than 250 dining options spread across the site, ranging from quick snacks and desserts to full sit-down meals.
You will find:
- Middle Eastern grills and shawarma
- Korean BBQ and Asian street food
- Indian chaats and regional dishes
- Turkish desserts and coffee
- Moroccan tagines
- South American grills
- Loaded carnival snacks and sweets
Food changes as you walk between pavilions, so you will not be eating at one food court all evening.
Carnaval rides and family attractions
The amusement section, known as Carnaval, continues to be one of the busiest areas inside the park. Season 30 introduced five new rides:
- Toronto Tornado.
- Cape Gliders.
- Rio Rocket.
- Desert Dashers.
- York Bikes.
Alongside those are dozens of family rides, arcade games, thrill attractions, and interactive entertainment zones.
The Dhs99 Wonder Pass
A major addition this May is the new Wonder Pass.
For Dhs99, you get unlimited access to all Carnaval rides for one day, including over 195 rides, attractions, and games.
If you are visiting with children or planning to spend several hours in the rides section, this is easily one of the best-value ticket options currently available.
Live Entertainment and Main Stage Shows
Throughout the evening, live performances take place across the park. Depending on the night, this can include:
- Cultural dance performances
- Music acts
- Stunt shows
- Children’s theatre
- Acrobatic performances
- Street entertainment
During Eid week, expect larger crowds around the Main Stage and more active nighttime programming.
