If you’ve seen those tiny, stacked burgers all over your feed, this is where they’re coming from.

Stacked is a focused burger joint built around good meat, strong flavours, and a very specific identity. Think 90s rock playing in the background, Nirvana posters on the walls, and a kitchen that’s constantly turning out trays of hot, messy, properly satisfying food.

Stacked is the brain child of Meiaad Al Boloushi, who’s built the concept around street food influences and a very clear point of view: keep it simple, but do it well.

What are you actually going for?

Most people show up here for their coin burgers.

The coin burgers are small, chargrilled patties served on soft, slightly flattened buns. They’re smoky from the grill, loaded with melted cheese, and finished with a creamy sauce that ties everything together.

Because they’re small, you don’t order one, you order a bunch. That’s the whole idea. You can try multiple flavours, stack them up, and still not feel like you’ve overcommitted to a single burger.

They’re quick, messy, and built for repeat bites instead of one heavy meal.

Then there’s the Smurf Burger Big, which goes in a completely different direction. It brings in a sweet blueberry bacon jam, balanced with peppery greens and a sharper finish. It sounds unusual, but it works better than you would expect.

One of the more interesting throwbacks is the Cheetos and Pufak Oman hot dog. It leans fully into nostalgia, combining familiar snack flavours with a proper street-style hot dog.

Sides are simple including fries, soft buns, and everything built to complement the mains rather than compete with them.

The Saturday sessions

If you want something beyond the regular menu, go on a Saturday evening.

From around 6 PM until closing, the chef runs off-menu sessions where limited-edition dishes and experimental items are introduced. These aren’t listed anywhere and don’t repeat regularly.

It’s also one of the few times you’ll see the chef actively interacting with guests and talking through the food. There’s no formal reservation system tied to this but walk in early if you want a better shot at trying everything.

What is the ambience inside?

It’s fast-paced, slightly loud, and designed to feel casual. You’ll probably end up taking photos before eating because the presentation is very much part of the appeal. On the other hand, the food also holds up to the already created hype.

The music, the interiors, and the overall setup lean into a very specific vibe. It is more of a street food hangout than a polished restaurant.

Locations and timings

There are two main outlets, and both run slightly different hours.

Go in with a plan to share. Order multiple coin burgers instead of committing to one large item. Add one or two larger mains if you want variety, and don’t skip the Saturday sessions if your timing allows.

Take your time, try a few things, and lean into the format. That’s when Stacked makes the most sense.
